Where:Cayce Masonic Lodge #384 at 1701 12th. Street Ext. Cayce, SC 29033
When:Saturday, June 14, 2008 from 10:00am until 3:00pm

Hello Everyone,

I don't have the words to express my deepest appreciation to all of you for coming and working so hard to make the day a success. And it was a big success. We completed over 300 dolls and have another 522 in some stage of completion. This is outstanding!!!!!

You came bearing monetary donations, stuffing and material, sewing machines and a great desire to do something for our American Soldiers. I am overwhelmed by your generosity. Through your caring, you will bring many many smiles to the faces of these soldiers. This is all they ask of us, just to be remembered. Thank you for making this possible.

Many of you asked when we are doing this again. The Cayce Masonic Lodge has offered us there facility to use again. We are thinking about having a Grand Workshop like yesterdays, quarterly. I will update you as soon as a schedule is worked out. We have regular workshops once a month right now, on the second Saturday of each month, alternating between here in Cayce, and in Greer in the upstate. Our next workshop is Saturday, July 12th in Greer, hosted by Rose Beason, our up state coordinator. We will be carpooling from here and split the gas. If you are interested in going and can drive or want to ride, please call me and let me know by clicking on the Contact Us link. We will need a head count by July 7th. so Rose can make food and space preparations. We leave Cayce at 8:00am sharp and start the return trip home at 3:00pm that afternoon and are back home between 5:00 and 5:30. I don't need to tell you we have a wonderful time.

I look forward to seeing all of you again very soon. Thank you for caring!!!

Carol

If you sent a donation, inquiry, or doll request to an address other than our post office box PO BOX, 3356 West Columbia, 29171 between the dates of 5/12/2008 and 8/21/2008, it was not delivered to us. If you sent a cash donation or donation by check, please contact us at once. If you sent an inquiry or requested a doll for a loved one, please contact us on this website. We are sorry for any inconvenience the article's oversight may have caused you Sincerely, OMSRD, INC.
